Thank you for your interest in my website. I am a French amateur photographer living in Wellington, New Zealand. Thanks to my occupation, I have often the opportunity to travel overseas and sometimes the chance to go to the remotest places of our Earth. I hope, thanks to my pictures and my sound records, being successful to share with you a bit of those unique moments I experienced on the way.
I use both digital and film cameras from 35mm up to 5x7. I use my DSLR mainly for wildlife photography and film cameras for all my other photographic subjects. Digital processing of my pictures are kept at the strict minimum: cropping, durst removal, minimal contrast/colour adjustments and black and white pictures toning. Dodging/burning are done with moderation when necessary, in the traditional darkroom way. I prefer let the lens and the film do the magic!
Camera used: Zorki 4K, Holga 120, Moskva folders, Mamiya Super 23, Mamiya C330, Mamiya 7II, Linhof Super Technica 5x7 and Canon 5D mark II.
Sound recording gears: Rode NT4 stereo X/Y microphone, Rode NT55 matched microphone pair used in ORTF configuration, Marantz P661 digital recorder + homebrewed preamp.
